Dr. Eric Lichtenstein

Our founder and medical director, Dr. Lichtenstein is one of New York’s most trusted and experienced pediatric eye surgeons, with over 25 years of experience caring for tens of thousands of infants, children, and teens. He’s known for his diagnostic precision, surgical skill, and natural ability to connect with kids—and reassure even the most nervous parents.

Dr. Ryan House

Dr. House shares our commitment to concierge-level care. Like Dr. Lichtenstein, he’s fellowship-trained in pediatric ophthalmology (the same fellowship, in fact!) and combines medical expertise with a warm, lighthearted approach that helps kids feel at ease. Together, they ensure every patient receives thoughtful, physician-led care and consistent follow-through.

Kirsten D. Johnson, OD

Dr. Kirsten Johnson brings energy, expertise, and a deep understanding of child development to her work at The Pediatric Eye Center. With specialized training in pediatric optometry and binocular vision, she provides thoughtful, high-level care to families across Queens and Nassau County.

Elizabeth Zhu, OD

Dr. Elizabeth Zhu combines clinical precision with a thoughtful, child-centered approach to care. With advanced training in pediatric eye development and binocular vision, she provides expert optometric evaluations for children of all ages—from busy toddlers to focused teens.

Cindy Casas

Cindy Casas is a Queens native, a Hunter College graduate of Human Biology, and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant with over a decade of experience in pediatric ophthalmology. She brings calm focus, technical expertise, and a reassuring presence to every exam.

Feii Nguyen

As Chief Ophthalmic Technician, Feii Nguyen brings leadership, precision, and pediatric experience to every exam. She oversees day-to-day clinical operations while mentoring junior technicians and helping ensure that every child receives efficient, accurate, and compassionate care.
