Knowing what to expect financially helps your family focus on what matters most: your child’s care. Before your first visit, here’s what to expect from our fees and how payment works.

A Direct-Pay Practice

The Pediatric Eye Center is a direct-pay practice. Payment is collected at the time of service.

Office Visit Fees

Most office visits currently range from $125 to $375, depending on the type of appointment.

Our fees are all-inclusive, meaning any testing performed during your visit is included. There are no separate testing charges or surprise bills from our office.

Before you schedule, we’ll let you know exactly which fee applies to your appointment, whether you’re booking online or speaking with our team by phone. Fees are subject to change over time.

For specialized services such as myopia management and surgical care, fees are discussed with eligible families before they decide whether to proceed.

Scheduling Deposits

A $75 scheduling deposit is required to reserve an appointment and is applied toward the cost of your visit.

If you need to cancel, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment scheduled within 45 days, provided we receive at least 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a third-party provider. Once approved, you’ll work directly with them to manage your account and monthly payments. Getting started is simple: Apply online with our QR code—most applicants receive an instant decision. Use your card immediately at participating providers, including our office. HSA, FSA and HRA

Our medical services are considered qualified expenses under Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) because they meet IRS criteria for eligible medical costs, allowing you to use pre-tax funds for these expenses. We are happy to provide any documents needed.
