Kelsy had ptosis (droopy eyelid) surgery on her left upper lid.
“Baseline” is how she looked before surgery.
PE10% is how she looked before surgery, when I used a special eyedrop to help determine what kind of surgery she could have.
Based on how she responded to the eyedrop, she was able to have a surgery under the eyelid. There was no need to cut her skin, and the absorbable stitches under her lid will dissolve in about 2 weeks.
Photo with me is how she looks at Post-Op day #5. Some bruising and a little bit of swelling. We can expect the eyelid to elevate another 0.5 to 1.0 mm as the swelling resolves in the upcoming weeks.
Parents & Kelsy happy!
