Throughout the surgery and recovery, my child received excellent care, and the recovery process went smoothly. Dr. Lichenstein recently performed my adult strabismus surgery, and I have nothing but kind things to say. I was incredibly anxious about the procedure, and he did a great job with reassuring me while still making sure not to overpromise anything. I think it’s very important to have a doctor who will be upfront with you, and he made sure to give me real statistics and possible outcomes.

In addition to the consultation, he gave me a call a couple of days before and after the surgery to give me the chance to ask any questions. This made me feel very cared for. And right before the surgery, he gave me the cutest stuffed animal that really went a long way in keeping me calm. I’m still quite early in my recovery process (6 days post-op), but I would definitely recommend him to children and adults alike in need of strabismus surgery.

In order for me to adequately express my gratitude for Dr.Lichtenstein, I must first provide some back story. We are a military family that has spent the better part of the last few years traveling. During this time we had a wonderful little girl whom we noticed had trouble keeping her eyes straight from the start. I spent hours trying to convey this fear to numerous pediatricians until finally we were referred to a specialist, who prescribed my daughter glasses at 1 year old and continuously assured us that the wearing of these glasses would correct the problem. Time continues to pass and the problem worsens to the point where it is visible at all times. We sought out many other pediatric specialists for a second opinion and all either didn’t know how to properly examine a toddler or turned us away completely. It was at this time I found Dr.Lichtenstein online and made an appointment. From the first day he was very attentive and compassionate to our small daughter’s needs. Not only did he identify the source of the problem, a year later he performed the surgery to correct it all together. Meeting him was truly a godsend. He had patience even through my daughters tantrums and stuck with her throughout each appointment. There’s not enough thanks or gratitude that I can give Dr.Lichtenstein because he truly alleviated a pain that my daughter had to deal with her entire life. The pleasant experience begins right at the time of booking where the office staff are also kind and respectful, qualities lost in many today. So if your out there looking for the right doctor to help your child, I can’t recommend Dr.Lichtenstein enough. Thank you for helping our daughter, we appreciate it greatly.

My 5 month old son had his tear duct opened up. Dr. Lichtenstein was amazing with him. Explained everything very well and allowed me the time to ask all the questions I needed to ask. I was worried the night of the surgery and called the after hours line. Dr. Lichtenstein called me back right away, eased my fears and even took the time to call the next day to see how my son was doing. Thanks to the Dr. His eye look great. Thank you Dr. Lichtenstein. I went to visit doctor Eric Lichtenstein for my son’s chalazion and I was very worried about it. He was very nice and Bonnie as well. The doctor suggested a quick surgery, Bonnie did all the necessary paper work and in less than a day my son was getting his surgery. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get great costumer service and quality care.
