Growing Up With a Dermoid
Eric's family had noticed the small fullness near his left brow for quite some time. Like many orbital dermoid cysts, it was painless and harmless, but became more noticeable as he grew.
By the time surgery was performed, the lesion was creating a visible contour difference around the brow and upper eyelid. The dermoid was removed through an incision hidden within the natural eyelid crease, allowing access to the cyst while minimizing any visible scar.
The photograph on the right was taken just one week after surgery. Even during this early stage of healing, the brow contour is already markedly improved, with the incision concealed within the natural eyelid fold.
