Amy:
Treatment Decision
After a complete evaluation, I reviewed the diagnosis, treatment options, and the associated risks and benefits with her parent. Surgery was selected as the most appropriate course of care.
Early Post‑operative Course
At five days after surgery, eye redness was present. This is a normal and temporary part of the healing process. Ocular alignment was already improved at that stage.
Longer‑term Outcome
At one‑year follow‑up, the result remained stable, with good eye alignment maintained over time.
